Project Kickoff & Scheduling: Upon award, we immediately develop a working schedule covering all phases connection design, shop drawings, fabrication, delivery, and erection fully coordinated with the project timeline.
Connection Design (Initial Priority): We begin with connection design, developing efficient, code-compliant connections for review and approval. This is a critical first step that drives the detailing and fabrication process.
Shop Drawings & Detailing (Post-Connection Design): Once connection design is approved, we proceed with main structural steel shop drawings, advancing them for approval while coordinating closely with the design team.
Decking Shop Drawings (Parallel Effort): We begin decking shop drawings early and run them in parallel where possible to maintain overall project momentum and coordination.
Ongoing Coordination & Revisions: We work closely with the structural engineer, GC, and other trades to address comments, revise drawings, and resolve conflicts in real time keeping approvals moving efficiently.
Procurement & Mill Orders: As key elements are released for approval, we initiate mill orders and material procurement to stay ahead of lead times and support the fabrication schedule.
Anchor Rod & Concrete Verification: We survey footings, piers, and anchor rods to confirm elevations and placement, identifying and resolving discrepancies before steel is fabricated and erected.
Fabrication (Phased Release): Steel is released for fabrication in phases as drawings are reviewed and released for fabrication, allowing us to maintain schedule without waiting for full project approval.
Delivery & Sequencing: Steel is delivered in a controlled sequence, aligned with erection priorities to maximize efficiency and minimize site congestion.
Erection & Installation: Field crews erect the structure, including setting columns, placing beams, installing connections, and coordinating decking installation.
